Corrie bosses to hire hotel?

'Coronation Street' bosses are considering hiring out an entire hotel in a bid to keep their big storyline under wraps.
The ITV1 soap's old studio bar has been turned into a hotel which overlooks the set, and now producers are terrified photographers and reporters will book out rooms while they film the 50th anniversary tram crash plotline, in which a number of characters will be killed off.
An insider told The Sun newspaper: "It's been seriously discussed - people are paranoid that shots will be sent around the world, which would be a bigger disaster than the crash itself. There was even talk of asking the hotel to black out the windows."
Producer Phil Collinson has already increased security on the set of the show to stop anything being leaked, and recently ordered electronic bug sweeps of conference rooms.
At least two characters will die in the dramatic scenes - which are to be aired during the Christmas period - but nobody knows who will lose their life.
Among the characters leaving the show include Janice Battersby (Vicky Entwistle), Molly Dobbs (Vicky Binns) and Ashley Peacock (Steven Arnold).
