Jason Manford happy with One comedians
New 'The One Show' presenter Jason Manford admits he feels more comfortable when his fellow comedians appear as guests on the BBC One magazine-style show
Jason Manford feels more comfortable when comedians appear on 'The One Show'.
The presenter - who joined the show with Alex Jones following the departures of Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles - admits his favourite guests so far have been fellow funnymen Alexei Sayle and Alan Davies.
He told BANG Showbiz: "Favourite guest? It's hard but I suppose Whoopi Goldberg because she was the first, but they've all been brilliant.
"I suppose having Alexei Sayle, and Alan Davies, having another comic on makes me feel better.
"I'd like to get Sir Tom Jones on, that would be amazing."
Jason has settled into his new role but admits he tries not to draw attention to his performance on the BBC's flagship evening show.
He added: "It's alright. I think I'm getting away with it, But everyone seems happy so I keep smiling, no one's said I'm bad, so that's alright.
"It's live TV and you get used to it. Pamela Anderson was a bit flustered when she came on, but we were just happy for her to be there to be honest."
