Chantelle and Josie's BBattle for show
Chantelle Houghton and ex-husband Samuel Preston will go head-to-head with 'Big Brother 11' contestants Josie Gibson and John James in their own TV shows.
Chantelle Houghton and Preston are to go head-to-head with Josie Gibson and John James Parton in their own reality TV shows.
Television executives have already signed a £100,000 deal with 'Big Brother 11' winner Josie and her Australian boyfriend John James to film their lives after leaving the house, and now divorced couple Chantelle and Preston are being lined up to appear in a similar fly-on-the-wall show.
An industry source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Both couples are hot property at the moment.
"TV executives are chomping at the bit to sign them up. They know they'll be massive ratings hits. Fans may be forced to split their loyalty if producers put both shows on at the same time."
Bristol-born Josie had originally intended to move back to her home city but changed her mind and plans to rent a house in London with John James for the next six months.
Chantelle - who split up with Preston in 2007 after just nine months of marriage - is believed to be getting reacquainted with her ex-husband, but the pair are taking things "slowly".
A friend of the couple's said: "It's not a bad thing that they are not spending every waking moment with each other because that would be totally unrealistic.
"They are taking things slowly but the commitment is there."
