'Hollyoaks' actress Stephanie Waring has given birth to a baby girl, who she has named Lila Grace
'Hollyoaks' Stephanie Waring has given birth to a baby girl.
The actress, who plays Cindy Cunningham in the soap, announced the birth of her second child - who she described as a "little stunner" and named Lexi Grace - on twitter this morning (18.09.10).
She tweeted: "I am very proud to announce the birth of my baby girl, Lexi Grace! Born at 23.12 last night weighing 7lb 13 we r both doing well, so happy x (sic)."
Bosses at the Channel 4 soap passed on their well wishes for Stephanie, 31, and Lila.
A statement from the show said: "She's called Lexi Grace and Stephanie tells us that she is a little stunner!
"Both Mum and baby are doing well and everyone at Hollyoaks sends Stephanie and her family our very best wishes."
Further congratulations have been posted by Stephanie's 'Hollyoaks' castmates including Jessica Fox, who plays Nancy Hayton, and Melissa Walton who plays Loretta Jones.
Melissa, 20, tweeted: "Everyone wish my beautiful friend Steph Waring a HUGE congrats! (sic)
"She's just had a beautiful baby girl called Lexi Grace!! Gorgeous!!xxxx (sic)
"What a beautiful name too, bet she is a little sweetheart can't wait to meet her! x x x"
Stephanie – who already has one daughter, Mia, four – is presently on maternity leave from the show, but is still featured on-screen, where she is due to marry multimillionaire tycoon Alistair Longford – although she has promised she has a "shocking" temporary exit from the soap.
No information is presently available about the father of either of Stephanie's children.
