Peter Andre sad about 5 O'Clock axe
Peter Andre admits it's a ''great shame'' 'The 5 O'Clock' show has been axed from Channel 4
Peter Andre thinks it's a "great shame" 'The 5 O'Clock Show' has been axed.
The singer-and-presenter - who was one of the guest hosts on the first and only series of the Channel 4 show - admitted while he is disappointed the chat programme is no more, it couldn't replace 'The Paul O'Grady Show'.
He explained: "Last week, it was announced that 'The 5 O'Clock Show' has been axed after one series. It's a great shame, as I know that all of the guest presenters, including me, had so much fun presenting it. But, truth be told, there is only one Paul O'Grady and he is going to be brilliant on his new show."
The Australian hunk - who was recently linked to 'Ultimate Big Brother' star Chantelle Houghton - admitted while she is a "nice girl", he is currently enjoying his single status.
He added to new! magazine: "There was a story last week that said I would ask Chantelle Houghton out on a date now she is out of the 'Ultimate Big Brother' house. Sorry to disappoint but this is not true. Chantelle is a nice girl but she is not going to be my new girlfriend.
"It seems anyone linked to my management is a potential girlfriend, like Kerry Katona and now Chantelle. I've said before that I'd like to find someone one day but now, I'm enjoying being single."
Since she left the show, Chantelle has been linked back to her ex-husband Preston.
