Tina O'Brien praises Strictly Widdecome
'Strictly Come Dancing' contestant Tina O'Brien thinks Ann Widdecome will win the ballroom dance competition
Tina O'Brien thinks Ann Widdecome will win 'Strictly Come Dancing'.
The former 'Coronation Street' actress - who recently signed up to take part in the ITV1 ballroom dance competition - is convinced that the politician will win over the public and will end up the winner of series eight.
When asked who would win the competition by BANG Showbiz at the launch of The Sun newspaper's new Saturday magazine at Il Bottaccio, she replied: "It's got to be Anne. She's going to win the public vote. Everyone's going to want her to win. I don't think she'll even make it into the bottom two, so she'll definitely be there to the final and will probably win it.
Tina on the other hand admits she think she will be lucky to get past the first round.
She said: "There's no way I'm going to win it I just want to get past week one.
"I love my partner Jared Murillo though. But I'm happy with my boyfriend, so there's going to be no romance."
The 27-year-old actress is believed to be dating 'Waterloo Road' cameraman Nick Cox, who she met during filming of the school-based drama series, and her 'Strictly' partner Jared is dating American dancer Ashley Galvan.
Tina - who 22-month-old daughter Scarlett with her ex-partner Ryan Thomas - has also revealed she won't be bringing the tot down to the show with her, because she is too young to understand what the competition is about.
She said: "I can't have Scarlett there at rehearsals because she'd just be getting in the way and trying to dance with me. She's too young to understand."
