Christine Bleakley closer to Chiles
Christine Bleakley has been order to sit no more than six inches away from 'Daybreak' co-host Adrian Chiles in a bid to sex up the flagging morning show.
Christine Bleakley has been told to sex up 'Daybreak' in a bid to win more viewers.
Producers at the ITV1 morning show have reportedly ordered the brunette presenter to never sit any more than six inches away from co-host Adrian Chiles as they want to see more chemistry between the pair.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Poor old Christine has had a real pain in the neck since this latest rule. She's finding it really hard to stick close to Adrian, and even though they're the best of pals, it still feels awkward to her to stay glued to his side.
"The cast and crew have been joking about health and safety and saying they'll both end up with repetitive strain injury. But producers won't give in - if they see any more than six inches between them, there will be trouble."
Bosses at 'Daybreak' have reportedly given Christine, 31, and 43-year-old Adrian a 19-page rule book, which orders him to smile more and tells them what to wear and when to laugh.
Since its September 6 launch, more than a fifth of the audience have switched off.
Adrian and Christine both signed multi-million pound deals with ITV after quitting the BBC.
