They dress like Ladyhawke and play like Friendly Fires, and this brand new quartet from the Northamptonshire hamlet of King’s Cliffe are building a name for themselves as reliable purveyors of sweet and shiny mutant disco, as heard on the singles ‘The Cult of Romance’ and ‘Stop and Stare’. Their typical stagewear of braided gold tiaras and sequinned disco blousons is also a fashion event waiting to happen. Right?
