Pixie Lott's X Factor nerves
'Gravity' hitmaker Pixie Lott was ''nervous'' about appearing as a guest judge on 'The X Factor', when she stepped in to temporarily replace Dannii Minogue on the panel of the reality show.
Pixie Lott was "nervous" about appearing as a guest judge on 'The X Factor'.
The 'Gravity' hitmaker - who stood in for new mum Dannii Minogue on the ITV1 show - felt like the "new kid at school", but ended up impressing music mogul Simon Cowell with her judging abilities.
'The Xtra Factor' presenter Konnie Huq explained: "This week's guest judge Pixie Lott was great. She was nervous about taking her place on the panel and she told me she felt like the new kid at school. But she was a hit with the contestants, who all said lovely things about her.
"Simon and Louis seemed impressed, too."
Konnie - who is currently filming the judges' houses stage of the competition at Dannii Minogue's pad in Australia - admitted she can see why Cheryl Cole was so taken by 17-year-old contestant Cher Lloyd, but thinks the singer faces "stiff competition" if she wants to win the show.
She added to Now magazine : "The response to Cher Lloyd, who sang Soulja Boy's 'Turn My Swag On', has been incredible. She's had over two million views on YouTube!
"I can see why Cheryl loved her - she's a mini version of her - but there's a long way to go and she faces some stiff competition."
