The Wonderful World of Hugh Hughes

Welsh-born performer Hugh Hughes has won a sizeable following for his imaginative monologues, which combine spoken word, visuals, live music and dance to transport audiences into fantastical worlds. This week-long celebration of his work, includes several of his successful collaborations with award-winning theatre company Hoipolloi, including Floating, in which an earthquake causes the Isle of Angelsey to float away from mainland Wales, and The Story of a Rabbit, a meditation on death and the afterlife sparked by discovering the dead body of his neighbour’s rabbit.
