Chris Colfer keen to makeover Boyle
'Glee' actor Chris Colfer admits he's desperate for his flamboyant alter-ego to give Susan Boyle a make-over in an upcoming episode.
Chris Colfer is desperate for his 'Glee' character to give Susan Boyle a makeover.
The actor - who plays flamboyant fashion follower Kurt Hummel in the musical TV show - hopes that rumours of a guest appearance from the 'Wild Horses' singer is true, because he would adore working closely with her.
Discussing rumours the Scottish singer is to play a dinner lady in an upcoming episode, he said: "I hope Susan Boyle is true because I love her. I think it would be fun to do a scene with her.
"I really hope she comes on the show and that Kurt gives her a makeover - I would love that."
The 20-year-old star has also revealed how many of his cast-mates are similar to their alter-egos.
He said: "Lea is like Rachel as she's really focused and determined. Amber is like Mercedes, too, but she's a grown woman without Mercedes' attitude! On set, I'd say I'm closest to Amber.
"My character and I are both obviously quite physical. We're both outsiders - outcasts at high school - and we're both pretty much capable of anything we set our minds to. But we're very different people."
However, Chris is adamant that Jane Lynch - who plays feisty cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester - is the polar opposite, and is like a "big goofy kid".
He added to Star magazine: "No, not at all! She's one of the nicest people I've met and she's so kind. She's just a big goofy kid. She's even funnier off camera."
