Jerry Springer praises Dancing Hoff
US chatshow host Jerry Springer has praised his former co-star David Hasselhoff for being determined, and believes he will do well in 'Dancing With The Stars'
Jerry Springer thinks David Hasselhoff will do "very well" on 'Dancing With The Stars'.
The American chatshow host - who worked with the former 'Baywatch' actor on 'America's Got Talent' - is convinced his pal will do well in the ballroom dance competition because of his "outsized personality" and natural rhythm.
He told People.com: "I think David will do very well. He knows how to dance, which is something that never crossed my talent pool.
"He's such an outsized personality that I think much of the show will gravitate towards him. When he walks in a room, everyone's paying attention to David."
Jerry appeared on the show as a contestant back in 2006, where he and his dance partner Kym Johnson stayed in the competition until the seventh week.
David has publicly battled problems with alcohol, but Jerry believes this proves how strong and determined the 58-year-old actor can be.
Jerry said: "He barrels through. Life isn't a smooth line and he's handled his bumps very well and inside there's a real good person there and it shows, ultimately, when things get tough."
