Dermot O'Leary wants Lady Gaga to perform on this year's 'X Factor'.
The presenter - who is set to front the new series of the show - is keen for the eccentric pop star to return to the stage because she is such a "brilliant" performer.
He said: "It'd be great to get Lady Gaga back on. She's brilliant and really nice."
Despite her bizarre stage performance - where she pretended to die - Dermot was shocked to be able to speak with her normally afterwards.
He said: "I only met her on the show and she was in this giant bath that cost £30,000 and was never used again. At the end of the performance she dies. I walked over to do the interview bit, and she was still playing dead, and I was thinking, 'She's still dead, she's still dead. What do I do if she pays dead throughout my whole interview? It could be fun TV!' Then at the last second, she leapt up and went, 'Hi!' She seems incredibly normal when you talk to her."
Dermot has also revealed how none of the team behind 'The X Factor' realised how bad judge Cheryl Cole's illness was when she first started feeling under the weather.
He told more! magazine: "We were in Cardiff when she started feeling ill. I put a blanket over her for a snooze on the sofa - we didn't think she had malaria! It was so unlucky - she was only out in Tanzania for five-and-a-half days and she was on the anti-malaria tablets. But she's all better now."
Cheryl will return to the show for the Judge's Houses stage of the competition and the live finals of the show, after missing most of the auditions because of the tropical illness.
