Olivia Stevens' BNTM jump regret
'Britain's Next Top Model' reject Olivia Stevens believes she would have been able to jump off from a 20ft-high platform if she had gone first because she would have had less time to think about it
'Britain's Next Top Model' reject Olivia Stevens believes she would have been able to jump off from a 20ft-high platform if she had gone first.
The 20-year-old hopeful failed to complete the challenge on the show after seeing fellow contestant Amelia Thomas injure herself while doing it, but thinks it could have been different if she hadn't have been made to wait.
She told BANG Showbiz: "I think it was the right decision for me to go because I didn't complete the challenge, so it was probably my time to go.
"I don't regret not jumping but I regret not being able to jump. I think I was up there too long - I was up there for about 20 minutes while Amelia was in the ambulance so I think if I had gone up first I would have jumped because I had less time to think about it. I was still happy to do it, but having to wait for Amelia to come out of the ambulance was just too much for me. It unnerved me."
At Olivia's elimination, judge Grace Woodward criticised her for not jumping, saying: "It was stage fright. If it had been a client you would have been sued, or your agency would have been sued."
But Olivia now admits there was no love lost between the two and doesn't think she would ever have been able to impress the stylist.
She said: "I didn't like Grace. She didn't like me from the start and always found a way to criticise me even if I had done well."
