X Factor stars trash Cowell's home
Simon Cowell's £1 million Spanish villa has been rampaged by excited 'X Factor' hopefuls
Simon Cowell's Spanish villa has been trashed by 'X Factor' hopefuls.
The music mogul's £1 million, 20-bedroom mansion in Marbella was rampaged by the singers - believed to be the groups category - when they visited for Simon to make his final choice about who would be going through to the live finals.
A source said: "It was chaos. It is thousands of pounds of damage. They were just very excited and things got out of hand."
As well as trampling sand into an expensive Persian rug, the contestants also raided a fridge, downing all the beer and vintage champagne inside - and waking Simon in the process.
However, the multimillionaire has promised they will not get away with their misbehaviour.
He told the Daily Star: "Yes, they did wake me up. Any damage will have to paid out of their first royalty cheque if they make it, to teach them a lesson."
It is believed the villa - which has three swimming pools and a cinema - is costing Cowell £15,000-a-day to hire for filming.
