Actress Kirstie Alley admits she is ''too chicken'' to compete in 'Dancing With The Stars' this season
Kirstie Alley is "too chicken" to do 'Dancing With The Stars'.
The 59-year-old actress has denied reports she is set to compete in the US reality dance show this series, stating she is too scared, but that she may consider it in the future.
She tweeted: "Lol... Just a rumor... Imagine that. NOT doing DWTS this season... Way too chicken!! Maybe next season if Im invited again!!!(sic)"
While Kirstie confirms she is not involved in the show, Bristol Palin - the 19-year-old daughter of US politician Sarah Palin - has reportedly signed up to compete.
E!Online states: "We can report to you exclusively that Sarah Palin's 19-year-old daughter Bristol Palin has been cast on the 11th season of 'DWTS', set to premiere September 20, according to sources."
This will not be the first time the teenager - who is a single mother to her 20-month-old son Tripp - has appeared in a reality show, having previously starred in 'The Secret Life of the American Teenager' on ABC Family.
Singer Michael Bolton is another star rumoured to be taking part, as is actress Jennifer Grey and NBA star Rick Fox - who previously dated actress Vanessa Williams.
Other stars set to don glitzy costumes for the ballroom dance competition include 'America's Got Talent' judge David Hasselhoff, former 'The Hills' star Audrina Patridge, and 'Jersey Shore' favourite Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino.
Brandy is also said to be in "serious discussions" with show producers, as well as Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner.
ABC has refused to comment on the rumoured contestants and will announce the confirmed cast next Monday (30.08.10) night during an episode of 'Bachelor Pad.'
The new series of 'Dancing With The Stars' will air on September 20th.
