Birds of a Feather for Christmas?
Lesley Joseph is keen to work on a 'Birds of a Feather' Christmas special, but admits she has never been asked
Lesley Joseph wants to do a 'Birds of a Feather' Christmas special.
The 64-year-old actress - who played maneater Dorien Green in the long-running BBC comedy - admits she and the fellow lead actresses Linda Robson and Pauline Quirke would love to reprise their roles for a one-off festive show, but have never been asked.
She said: "It hasn't come up. There was a big splurge in one of the papers saying we were going to go back but no one has ever asked. If they wanted it and they sent a great script along I suppose we'd do it. Like a Christmas special. But nobody has asked."
Lesley - who now appears as a newspaper reviewer on 'This Morning' - believes a festive special would be perfect for the series to "tie up loose ends".
She told BANG Showbiz: "I think it would be really good to do a one-off Christmas special, just an hour. It would tie up all the loose endings just to see... I mean I'd probably have had ten face lifts. I'd probably really have to have them! Even more than I ever have done! People look at me and think, 'What a wonder of medical science!'
"It would be nice. And we would all loved to be asked, but what can you do?"
'Birds of a Feather' series one and two will be available on DVD from August 30.
