Britney Spears' strict Glee security
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy was blocked from his set during a mishap with security men looking after Britney Spears during her cameo on the show
'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy was blocked from entering his set by Britney Spears' body guards.
The TV executive - who wrote and produced the hit musical TV series - admits security was so tight whilst the pop star filmed scenes on the show, that at one point he wasn't even allowed onto the set.
He explained: "It was literally like the president came. We all had to wear wristbands. I couldn't get into my own set at one point which I thought was hilarious. Literally, it was like, 'Who are you?' But, you know, we just wanted to protect her and make it great."
Despite the strict security, Ryan has praised the 'Hit Me Baby' songstress for her "sweet and humble" attitude to the youngsters performing in the show.
He explained to E! Online: "She was so great. She was so sweet and so humble. I think she was really impressed about, you know, so many kids on the show do what they do because they grew up at seven or eight wanting to be Britney Spears. So she's really sweet with them.
"We had a number with a bunch of eight-year-old dancers in the show and she spent a lot of time talking to them and they did a number for her and she was so sweet. She's great with kids, she was awesome."
During her cameo on the show, Britney takes on the role of Madonna during a rendition of their 2003 music video 'Me Against The Music'.
