Former glamour model Katie Price has signed up to star in a secret new TV show next year

Katie Price is to star in a secret new TV show next year.

The former glamour model - who has her own programmes, including 'What Katie Did Next' and has starred in 'I'm A Celebrity. Get Me Out Of Here!' twice - is set to take part in an "exciting" new television project, which she claims to have wanted to do for five years.

Although the 32-year-old star remained tight-lipped about what the programme will be, Katie is adamant it won't be a reality show.

She told BANG Showbiz: "Just wait until you see what I'm doing next year, it's right up my street. I've been wanting to do it for five years, this programme. It will be very entertaining, let's put it that way. And it's not reality. Even though I'll still be doing two reality shows a year, my next project isn't reality."

Katie has also decided to continue work on her ITV2 reality show 'What Katie Did Next', because the ratings are so high.

Speaking at the launch of her Boutique iPod Range earlier today (20.08.10), she explained: "I've always said I'd do reality. It's the highest rating show on ITV2, so why would I not do it when obviously people love watching it? But there are lots of other things I can do to expand Pricey Media. I'm also doing shows with other people."

However, Katie - whose marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid and wedding blessing also took centre stage in one of her reality shows earlier this year - has vowed to keep her relationship separate from these in future.

She said: "Yeah. Like in 'What Katie Did Next', or whatever it's called. it'll be separate."
