Kat Slater pregnant
Kat Slater will be pregnant when she returns to 'EastEnders', but producers aren't saying if the father is her husband, Alfie Moon.
Kat Slater will be pregnant when she returns to 'EastEnders'.
The man-eating character, played by Jessie Wallace, will return from America where she has been with husband Alfie Moon for the last five years with a baby bump, but producers are keeping tight lipped as whether her spouse is the baby's father.
A soap source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "Fans know Kat and Alfie have been on an American road trip but not much else while they were away.
"It's clear that although she is going to have a baby, not everything has gone completely according to plan in the last five years."
The storyline is expected to be being lined up to play out over Christmas this year. The couple will return to the soap in September, when they will take over the Queen Vic pub after it is burned down over the next few weeks.
Kat and Alfie - played by Shane Richie - will also be joined in Walford by Alfie Moon's cheeky cousin Michael Moon (Steve John Shepherd), when they return.
Describing his character, Steve has said: "On the surface he is a loveable, cheeky chappy but he has hidden depths, which will be exciting to explore."
