Geri Halliwell confused by Cowell
Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell admits she can't decide whether she wants to kiss Simon Cowell or slap him, after working with him on 'The X Factor'
Geri Halliwell can't decide whether she wants to slap or kiss Simon Cowell.
The former Spice Girl - who appeared alongside the music mogul as a guest judge for the audition stages of this year's 'The X Factor' - admitted her and Simon often had "completely opposite" views when it came to deciding who to put through to the boot camp stage of the competition.
She said: "I still can't decide whether I want to slap him or kiss him! Sometimes I shared a female viewpoint with Cheryl, but I can also have a taste that Louis relates to. Simon and I were either completely opposite or very similar."
Meanwhile, Louis Walsh has praised guest judge Katy Perry for her no nonsense attitude, but revealed Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was his personal favourite.
He explained: "Katy Perry was fun. Simon couldn't control her, which really made me laugh. She reminded me of Sharon Osbourne, so I loved her! My favourite, though was Nicole, who I'd never met before. She just got it, she was incredibly impressive."
Katy - who appeared on the show as a stand-in for Dannii Minogue, who recently gave birth to baby son Ethan - "loved" Simon's his sarcastic attitude, despite their differing opinions.
She added to New! magazine: "I'm not a sugar-coated judge. If it's obviously not going to work out for them, they need to aspire to something else. I love Simon. I've met him before on chat shows and he's confident and very sarcastic, which is my cup of tea."
