Vicky Binns' carefree about Corrie
'Coronation Street' actress Vicky Binns doesn't mind if her character Molly Dobbs is killed off.
Vicky Binns' doesn't mind if her 'Coronation Street' alter-ego Molly Dobbs dies.
The actress - who is set to leave the ITV1 soap in the next few weeks - admits she has no worries about whether her character is killed off during her final scenes, but just hopes she plays the part well.
She explained: "I don't care if Molly lives or dies. I just want to do justice to what's been a brilliant storyline. I won't mind if the door isn't left open for me. I've done 10 years of soap - five on 'Emmerdale' as Ollie Reynolds and five on 'Corrie'."
While she is unsure where her career will take her once she has quit the show, Vicky admits she is quite tempted by a part in 'EastEnders'.
She explained to Soaplife magazine: "I've been Ollie and Molly - so perhaps I could be Dolly in 'EastEnders'! I'd never say never. After 'Emmerdale' I had a two-year gap where I did TV dramas and theatre. I really enjoyed it and I'd like to do some more. I'd like to do film too. It's strange thought, because I never in a million years thought I'd ever do another soap after 'Emmerdale'.
