Anne Robinson makes Link tough

Anne Robinson believes appearing on 'The Weakest Link' is tougher than having a Brazilian bikini wax.
The TV presenter - famed for her insulting putdowns on the BBC quiz show - admits she gives contestants a very hard time when they appear and would find it less painful undergoing the cosmetic procedure.
She said: "You do meet people afterwards or you meet their mothers who never forgive you. 45 minutes of 'The Weakest Link' in front of me is worse than a Brazilian bikini wax."
Anne - who is dubbed the Queen of Mean - also insisted contestants on the show are above average intelligence but some fail to cope with the pressure of being on TV.
She said: "People say, 'God, they are stupid on that programme.' But contestants have got to be above average to get on. It's the lights and nerves - your brain leaves your body."
The programme is celebrating its 10th anniversary and Anne says it's becoming harder and harder to find acceptable insults.
She told The Sun newspaper: "Over the years, viewers have got more prissy about what you can and cannot say. In 10 years the internet and email has made for a much greater volume of complaints and opinions, which is good on the whole. But I do have to be more careful."
