Kate Walsh unfazed by fame
Kate Walsh insists she doesn't get star-struck by celebrities when interviewing them for 'Live From Studio Five' because of her business background.
Kate Walsh doesn't get star-struck by celebrities.
The 'Live From Studio Five' host - who shot to fame after becoming the runner-up on last year's 'Apprentice' - says she isn't fazed when she was to interview A-list celebrities because she uses her business background.
She told new! magazine: "Going to film junkets really is like the scene in 'Notting Hill' where Hugh Grant interviews Julia Roberts, but my business comes in quite handy. I used to meet a lot of managing directors and although they're successful and earn a lot of money, they're still just people, so I try to think like that in this job."
While Kate has been on the Channel 5 talk show since the beginning along with fellow host Ian Wright, the third member of the line-up hasn't been so stable.
Melinda Messenger was originally in the trio before she left and was replaced by Emma Willis.
However, Emma has since departed and now Jayne Middlemiss is the permanent third anchor and Kate insists she couldn't be happier with the line-up.
She said: "I remember watching Jayne on 'Top Of The Pops' and Ian on 'Friday Night's All Wright', never imagining I'd be working with them."
