Suzanne Shaw kind to Quirke
'Emmerdale' actress Suzanne Shaw helped 'Birds of a Feather' star Pauline Quirke settle in when she joined the ITV1 show recently
Suzanne Shaw helped Pauline Quirke settle into 'Emmerdale'.
The former pop star - who started work as Eve Jenson in the soap several months ago - has been thanked by her new co-star Pauline, for showing her the ropes when she joined the rural soap as Hazel Walsh.
Pauline told TV Times magazine: "Suzanne and I sat down with her schedule and mine, and she showed me how she worked it all out. It's a bit of a skill. There are four directors doing 16 episodes and you have to work out who you're with."
Suzanne seemingly didn't mind teaching Pauline the ropes during her first few days, as the 'Birds of a Feather' actress has given the blonde beauty plenty of help and acting classes when she first revealed plans to become an actress.
Suzanne explained: "She took me through my scripts and gave me a few acting lessons. Now it's just great to have her on board."
Pauline has landed the part of Jackson Walsh's mother in the rural soap, and recently admitted she was completely overwhelmed when she filmed her first scenes on the show and saw iconic pub The Woolpack.
She said: "I cried when I saw The Woolpack. My mum absolutely loved 'Emmerdale' and so to get on set and actually see that Woolpack, it was actually really emotional so I had a little cry. But then I pulled myself together!"
