Ricky Gervais is to star again in 'The Simpsons'.
The comedian - who wrote and appeared in 2006's 'Homer Simpson, This Is Your Wife' - will play himself in an episode next year when the cartoon family go to the Oscars, where Bart picks up a gong for his film 'Angry Dad'.
Ricky was invited to star in the animated comedy's 22nd season after his hilarious appearance in the hit cartoon as a man browbeaten by his wife four years ago.
Halle Berry will also star in the episode when she presents the Academy Award to Bart - before he and dad Homer fight over who'll go up and accept the gong from the beautiful 'Monsters Ball' actress.
Other celebrities who reportedly have cameos in the upcoming season include Jon Hamm, Paul Rudd, Daniel Radcliffe, Hugh Laurie and Martha Stewart.
Ricky is also wanted as a guest star in an episode of the US version of 'The Office'.
Actress Angela Kinsey - who plays accounts department worker Angela Martin - thinks it would be fantastic if the creator of the original British series - in which he played hapless boss David Brent - came to the American paper mill.
She said: "I can't confirm it but we would be out of our minds excited about that. You know, he's been able to stop now and then and it's great for us. We're such big fans of where the show started so I hope so."
