'Glee' has received three Television Critics Association awards - the Programme of the Year, Outstanding New Programme and Jayne Lynch for Outstanding Achievement in Comedy.

'Glee' has received three Television Critics Association awards.

The musical teen drama show dominated the ceremony at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday night (31.07.10) - which was the 26th annual awards - scooping both Programme of the Year and Outstanding New Programme.

Comedienne Jane Lynch - known for her role as bossy cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester in the show - was also honoured for her role in the show, and was awarded the Individual Achievement in Comedy gong.

The 2009-2010 season winners are decided upon by the 200-plus members of the association.

'The Good Wife' actress Julianna Margulies was honoured the Individual Achievement in Drama prize, while ABC comedy 'Modern Family' received the most votes for the Outstanding Achievement in comedy gong.

Actor Hanes Garner was also honoured with the Career Achievement Award for his contribution and influence of his work within TV.
