Sharon Osbourne to Talk
'America's Got Talent' judge Sharon Osbourne is to co-host new US chat show 'The Talk'
Sharon Osbourne is starring in new US chat show 'The Talk'.
The reality TV star is one of six women, all mothers, set to co-host the new daytime CBS show, which will hit US television screens in September.
'America's Got Talent' judge Sharon will be joined by US 'Big Brother' and 'Early Show' presenter Julie Chen, Leah Remini, Holly Robinson Peete, Marissa Jaret Winokur and executive producer Sara Gilbert on the panel which will work on a similar basis to Britain's 'Loose Women'.
Discussing the format on the programme, Julie revealed: "This show should feel like you're watching six women talking about what everybody's talking about, whether it's Mel Gibson or the Arizona immigration law. But we don't have an edit button."
The six women discussed their plans during a question and answer session with the Television Critics Association.
During the chat, Leah was asked if she planned to give Scientology - the bizarre sci-fi cult started by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard, which she follows - a prominent role in discussions on the show.
She said: "Not at all. I love to make people laugh, entertain them.
"That other thing is something that is not even part of my discussion."
Meanwhile, actress Sara - who has two children with her partner Allison Adler - admits she plans to use the show to speak openly about her sexuality and lifestyle.
She explained: "I've been acting my whole life, and I've never really discussed my personal life. This is a talk show. So obviously, I'm going to be discussing my life more."
