Kate Walsh won't wed Apprentice
'The Apprentice' stars Kate Walsh and Philip Taylor aren't bothered about getting married and don't expect to ever tie the knot
Kate Walsh and Philip Taylor aren't bothered about getting married.
The 'Apprentice' couple - who have been dating since they met on the BBC entrepreneurial reality show last year, in which Kate came second - are very much in love, but don't expect to ever to ever tie the knot.
She said: "We've both discussed marriage, but it's not something we're planning to do. It costs a lot of money and it's a lot of organisation. It's not something either of us places a lot of emphasis on. If we were going to marry we'd go on a city break somewhere. I know it sounds awful, but I don't even think we'd be bothered about inviting our friends and family."
Despite falling in love on the TV show, the couple initially split because they lived at opposite ends of the country.
But after deciding they couldn't live without each other, Philip moved from Durham to be with Kate in London.
TV host Kate - who co-presents the daily Five TV show 'Live From Studio Five' with Jayne Middlemiss and Ian Wright - also admitted Philip is jealous of her blossoming career.
She explained to Star magazine: "It's easy for people to assume that. He isn't jealous at all. He's incredibly supportive. We did a bit of television work together after 'The Apprentice' for 'GMTV' but Philip didn't enjoy it. It's not something he's bothered about."
