Kimberley Walsh put off by pop
Girls Aloud singer Kimberley Walsh admits she almost turned down a presenting slot on 'Suck My Pop' because of its name
Kimberley Walsh almost didn't agree to work on 'Suck My Pop' because of its name.
The Girls Aloud star admits she was shocked when she was first approached about the new Friday night TV show - which will include celebrity interviews, music news and a chart show - because of its naughty moniker.
She said: "The new show is called 'Suck My Pop' - you can imagine my reaction when I heard that? But it's good because it proves that we're not taking it too seriously. It is going to be a bit of fun, full of light-hearted interviews and performances."
The 28-year-old pop star beauty admits she has become so used to being interviewed over the years, that she doesn't need to do any special training for the hosting job.
She explained: "To be honest, I think because I've been on the other side, I don't really need to do too much prep. I know most of the artists I'm interviewing, so it should be OK. I hope it goes all right - it's a bit scary at the moment!"
'Suck My Pop' will air on digital channel Viva, where Kimberley will be joined by newcomer Will Best.
