Drea de Matteo's baby gift
'Desperate Housewives' actress Drea de Matteo told John Barrowman she'd happily have his children if he ever wanted to start a family.
Drea de Matteo offered to give John Barrowman a child.
The 43-year-old actor - who appeared alongside the actress on hit show 'Desperate Housewives' as her character Angie Bolen's evil ex-boyfriend - has revealed she thought the pair got on so well together that she would be prepared to have his children.
He told Britain's heat magazine: "Drea said we're like brother and sister, separated at birth and that she'd have my kids.
"She's got this amazing New Jersey drawl: 'I usually don't like actors, but I like you. You want a kid? Come to me, I'll have a baby for ya.' Brilliant."
The television personality - who began his acting career in London's West End theatre district in 1989 - also advised while he would "love" to appear in US musical comedy show 'Glee', he has "no idea" whether he will be given a part.
He said: "I have no idea if I'll be in it. I met with their casting people and I said I'd love to be in it - I'd be good as one of Rachel's gay dads! The ball's in their court, though."
The 'Any Dream Will Do' judge recently advised he doesn't like to limit himself when it comes to his career, as he likes to challenge himself by playing as many different characters as possible.
John explained: "I'm an actor and an entertainer. You wouldn't tell a plumber he's only allowed to do sinks. I can do theatre, telly, singing - it's all part of my business."
