Secret mean girl Jane Lynch
'Glee' actress Jane Lynch admits she has a secret ''mean girl'' hidden inside her who helps her portray Sue Sylvester
Jane Lynch uses her inner "mean girl" when she portrays Sue Sylvester.
The 'Glee' actress admits she has certain qualities which are similar to the bolshie cheerleading coach, and that her secret personality traits held her to act.
She explained: "I hope we capture the inner Sue. But you know what? The inner Sue is the inner Jane Lynch as well. I mean, there's a little mean girl in me and it's the part of me that I use for Sue Sylvester. I probably couldn't act it if I didn't have it in me."
The 49-year-old comedienne - who wed her long-term girlfriend Dr. Lara Embry last month - has also thanked the wardrobe staff on the hit musical TV show for making her character so "iconic".
She added to Entertainment Tonight, whilst being measured for her Madame Tussauds waxwork model: "I'd like to thank our wardrobe designer for giving me these great tracksuits, because it obviously puts the character of Sue Sylvester into kind of an iconic place."
