Simone Clark wants fellow ''Yorkshire girl'' Joy McLaren to win 'Britain's Next Top Model' after she failed to make it through to the final 14 of the fashion search show

Simone Clark wants fellow "Yorkshire girl" Joy McLaren to win 'Britain's Next Top Model'.

The 21-year-old beauty failed to make it through to the final 14 in the sixth series of the fashion search show and while she got on with all the other girls during her time on it, she says she will be rooting for raven-haired Joy.

She told BANG Showbiz: "I really liked all the girls on there and I think they're all great as everyone brings something different to the show. But if I had to pick someone, I've got to be cheering on Joy because she's a fellow Yorkshire girl so we need to stick together!"

Although she wasn't on the show long, Simone - who is regarded as a plus-sized model despite only being a size 10-12 - says it was great working with Elle Macpherson, who has replaced Lisa Snowden as the show's new host.

Talking about the 47-year-old supermodel, Simone said: "It was brilliant working with her. She was so nice. Very approachable, and always had a smile on her face. And I mean she looks absolutely amazing, her body is ridiculous!

"She gave loads of good advice and obviously she knew what she was talking about. It was great to have someone like that to look up to."
