Sharon Osbourne misses Hoff
'America's Got Talent' judge Sharon Osbourne admits she misses working with David Hasselhoff on the variety show, even though she finds his replacement Howie Mandel ''funny''.
Sharon Osbourne misses working with David Hasselhoff on 'America's Got Talent'.
The reality TV star - who is one of the celebrity judges on the US variety contest show - admits she was sad when the former 'Baywatch' star left the programme last year, but is thrilled with his "funny" replacement, comedian Howie Mandel.
She said: "I miss David Hasselhoff, who brought a lot of heart to the show, but Howie is unbelievably quick and funny."
While she enjoys Howie's wit, the 57-year-old star struggles to cope with her new colleague's phobia of germs, and hopes to use this to her advantage.
She quipped: "On the first day I sneezed and he literally ran 50 feet. Now, if he goes on and on talking, I threaten to lick his face and that makes him stop. I love to get a reaction from him."
Sharon - who also works with former newspaper editor Piers Morgan on the panel - also adores how the show can change contestants' lives.
She added to What's On TV: "It's great to see the contestants totally change their lives. It's an amazing feeling to help someone go to a better place and fulfil their dreams."
