Jedward's Edward Grimes was rushed to hospital yesterday (04.07.10) after injuring himself on stage.
The 'X Factor' star and twin brother John were performing a medley of the 'Ghostbusters' theme, 'Ice Ice Baby' and 'All The Small Things' at T4 On The Beach when Edward mistimed a jump and landed awkwardly on his leg.
Although he tried to carry on, the 18-year-old singer was in lots of pain and an ambulance was called once the song was over.
An onlooker said: "Edward tried to carry on. They might have been absolutely awful but you can't fault Edward's commitment You wouldn't get that kind of courage from some so-called rock bands."
During his ambulance ride to a nearby hospital, he was given oxygen but spent most of the time being sick.
A spokeswoman for Jedward said: "He's waiting for an X-ray but we don't think it's broken. It looks like torn ligaments."
Although he may be in some pain, Edward has had some good news as he and John have signed a deal with ITV2 for a new reality show.
'Jedward: Home Alone' will follow the twins as they leave their mum and try to look after themselves for a week.
An ITV statement said: "The series will film their trial run at cutting their apron strings. And in their new flat, in a hip part of Dublin, they will live in separate rooms for the first time in their lives."
Jedward added: "The show will give fans an insight into our world."
