Fiz Stape is set to fall pregnant in 'Coronation Street'.
The factory worker - who is played by Jennie McAlpine - will cause a stir on the Street when she announces she is expecting a child with her husband John Stape (Graeme Hawley) shortly after he secretly kills a pal and buries him underneath Underworld.
However, the red-head's pregnancy will be marred by the upset faced by her neighbour Natasha Blakeman (Rachel Leskovac), who has an abortion when she realises her boyfriend Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) isn't ready to become a parent.
But the pretty hairdresser is left heartbroken when the blonde hunk decides he is ready for fatherhood after all and begs Natasha to show him her scan of their baby.
In desperation, Natasha asks Fiz to let her borrow her own baby images and hide the fact she has had a termination.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Fiz is over the moon about her pregnancy and feels for Natasha.
"But she might wish she was the one who had the abortion when she finds out what John has done."
Fiz is set to have a turbulent few weeks, as John hides the fact he has killed his pal and then struggles with his emotions as he keeps his deadly secret from his new bride.
