Kylie Minogue has regrets about her 'Body Language' and 'X' albums, as she wishes they could have been ''more cohesive''.

Kylie Minogue regrets her last two albums.

The 42-year-old pop princess - who recently released her eleventh studio LP 'Aphrodite' - admitted she wished her past offerings 'Body Language' and 'X' could have been "more cohesive".

She explained to Attitude magazine: "I hate to have regret, because there was some amazing stuff on there, but there was a niggling voice in my head that just wished they could have been a little bit more cohesive.

"Hindsight can be a real . b***h. You go, 'God, I wish I'd been more clear-headed or thought of that or been more strong-willed', or whatever the case is."

However, the 'All The Lovers' hitmaker - who recently completed her first North American concert tour - revealed she does not have the same feeling with the 'Aphrodite' album.

She said: "I don't think I've ever felt this way about an album. I feel that just a lot of goodness has gone into it. It sounds like a cereal: 'Goodness'.

Kylie went on to add the songs she had written about her struggle with breast cancer in 2005 didn't make it on to the 'X' album.

The pint-sized pop star said: "I was just coming back and I'd written songs about my experience, my illness, and they didn't make the album.

"I don't even know why. If they just weren't good enough songs, or the record company didn't think they were appropriate, I don't know. So there's a little regret about that."
