Molly Dobbs' killed off Corrie
'Coronation Street's Molly Dobbs is to be killed off in a shock storyline that will run over the next year.
Molly Dobbs is to be killed off 'Coronation Street'.
The shop worker - who is played by 27-year-old actress Vicky Binns - has been trapped in a love triangle with her husband Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) and his boss, Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell), which is set to come back and apparently cause problems for her at the end of the year.
After leaving her husband for Kevin, she then found out she was pregnant and unsure about who the father is and will now come to a grizzly end.
Executive producer of the soap, Phil Collinson wrote on the show's website: "I don't want to give too much away, but there's going to be a dead body on 'Coronation Street'. It's going to be a death that that will affect a couple of our most significant characters in a way that will hopefully be really surprising and exciting. It's the beginning of a story that's going to take us across the next year."
It's believed that Kevin and his wife Sally will take in the baby after Molly is killed.
Earlier this year, Vicky announced that she would be leaving the soap after five years.
She said: "It's been a joy to be involved in such a fantastic storyline and it is only right that it has the explosive ending viewers are waiting for.
"I am very excited about playing out the rest of this plot and indeed about what the future holds. I've had an amazing time in the show and feel it's right to leave on such a high."
