Kym Marsh - who plays Michelle Connor in 'Coronation Street' -d oesn't think he character has a long-term future with Ciaran McCarthy (Keith Duffy).
Kym Marsh doesn't think her 'Coronation Street' character will end up with Ciaran McCarthy.
The 'Coronation Street' star's soap alter ego Michelle Connor is set to go on a date with the hunky barman - played by Keith Duffy - and though she expects they will have fun, the actress admits she can't see her character settling down any time soon.
She said: "I don't think Michelle is ready for anything too serious. She's only just started to enjoy being on her own.
I can see them having a lot of fun together, but I can't really see it working in the long term."
Kym thinks Michelle is hoping to be wooed by the Irishman but worries he will just view her as another notch on his bedpost.
She explained: "She definitely fancies him and she like shim much more than she'll admit. But she's worried that he's too much of a womaniser for her.
"She wants to be wooed. Ciaran's going to have to work harder than that to prove to her that he's not only after one thing."
