Gaby Roslin could be the One
Gaby Roslin is reportedly being lined up to replace Christine Bleakley on 'The One Show', which could see her reunite with former 'Big Breakfast' co-host Chris Evans.
Gaby Roslin is reportedly being lined up for 'The One Show'.
The presenter - who currently fronts the breakfast show on radio station BBC London 94.9 alongside Paul Ross - could be reunited with her former 'Big Breakfast' co-host Chris Evans on the hit BBC One show, following Christine Bleakley's departure to ITV.
An insider revealed: "Gaby and Chris together would be amazing. Everyone's trying to make it happen. They used to have really great chemistry."
The 45-year-old blonde could present the Monday to Thursday slot alongside comedian Jason Manford, 29, while co-hosting with Chris - who she worked with for two years on 'The Big Breakfast' - on Friday nights.
Chris has admitted he would be more than happy to work alongside his former co-star again.
He said: "She's as mad as a box of frogs, to be honest, and she looks incredible - better now than she did 20 years ago.
"Of course I would do it."
It is believed Gaby will face competition for the presenting slot from Myleene Klass - who co-hosted 'The One Show' alongside Adrian Chiles in 2007 - as well as Melanie Sykes and former Spice Girl Emma Bunton.
However, a spokeswoman for the BBC insisted: "Nothing has been confirmed."
