Sophie Webster plots Australian move
'Coronation Street' lovers Sophie Webster and Sian Powers plan to move to Australia as Ryan Connor threatens to tell all about their lesbian relationship
'Coronation Street' lovers Sophie Webster and Sian Powers plan to move to Australia when their lesbian relationship faces being exposed.
The two schoolgirls want to move as far away from Weatherfield as possible after Ryan Connor (Ben Thompson) warns he is going to spill the beans and believe nobody will understand them if they stay.
Sian (Sacha Parkinson) tells Sophie (Brooke Vincent): "It's got to be Australia, Sophie. It's the furthest away we can get. No one will ever find us there."
The young lovers then start excitedly planning their future together, thrilled at the prospect of being able to live as a real couple.
Despite initially struggling to admit their feelings for each other, it was recently revealed Sophie will declare her love for Sian as she fights for her life.
The blonde teenager collapses on the cobbled streets with severe stomach ache after a school ball.
Panic-stricken Sophie stays by her friend's side as she is rushed into hospital and from her bedside kisses her on the lips and whispers: "I love you Sian. Please don't die."
