Former glamour model Lysette Anthony is set to appear in 'Coronation Street' as a potential love interest for escort Lewis Archer
Lysette Anthony is set to appear in 'Coronation Street'.
The 80s glamour model has started filming her scenes in Weatherfield, where she will portray sexy businesswoman Lydia Radcliffe - a prospective new love interest for male escort Lewis Archer (Nigel Havers).
The 46-year-old former model will apparently fall for the charms of the suave boyfriend of Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls), whilst at the airport trying to run away from his relationship problems.
A source told the Mail Online: "This is not a long-term role for her, she just appears in one episode. The scenes will be shown in eight weeks' time."
It has previously been reported the hair salon owner will leave the Street and move to Greece with her escort lover, after their offer on a hotel in Alonissos is accepted.
Over the years Lysette has appeared in a number of TV shows, including 'Hollyoaks', 'The Bill', 'Casualty', 'Auf Wiedersehen, Pet' and 'Night and Day'.
Sue, 66, recently admitted her character was "bowled over" when she first met Lewis.
She said: "She's narked by everybody saying, 'He's just an escort', but she does become very clingy. It's a side of Audrey you haven't really seen. She suddenly realises - and pretends she doesn't - that she has the hots for him."
