Billy Murray misses soap
Billy Murray ''misses everything'' about being in a soap or long-running television programme
Billy Murray misses being in 'EastEnders'.
The actor - who won the Best Villain accolade at the British Soap Awards in May 2006 for his role as gangster Johnny Allen in the BBC One show - often thinks about the fun he used to have whilst filming the drama programme, and is annoyed there is no chance for him to return.
He told BANG Showbiz: "I miss everything about being in a soap or long-running series. It's good fun and the evenings out and the weekends are great.
"There isn't a chance of going back, I'm dead so not unless they find a way of resurrecting the dead."
The former 'Bill' actor - who now runs a film production company - also revealed he is "sad" both shows are coming to the end of an era, with Barbara Windsor leaving 'EastEnders' after 16 years and 'The Bill' being axed after 27 years on ITV.
He explained: "I'll be very sad when Barbara Windsor goes, I was talking to her yesterday.
"I'm also sad that 'The Bill' is finishing. I think they should have kept it on and got rid of some of these reality programmes."
