BB nominations revealed
Sunshine, Shabby and Dave have been chosen by their 'Big Brother' housemates as the first contestants to be put up for eviction and face the public vote on Friday (18.06.10)
Dave, Shabby and Sunshine have become the first 'Big Brother' 11 housemates nominated for eviction.
Filmmaker Shabby, medical student Sunshine, and Dave - a 39-year-old Christian minister from Wales - will now face the public vote on Friday (18.06.10) after receiving the most votes from their peers.
However, in a new twist to the traditional rules of the reality TV show, one of the nominees will have the opportunity to dodge the public vote as part of today's "save and replace" task, which will see the winner choose another housemate to go up for eviction in their place.
The 14 housemates started voicing their concerns about the nomination process as they were called into the diary room one-by-one to make their decisions yesterday (14.06.10).
Ben, a 30-year-old writer and broadcaster, admitted he made a "mistake" with one of his choices and felt like he had "stabbed someone in the back".
He revealed: "It was a wrong, spur of the moment decision", before going on to add he found the process of nominating his fellow housemates "very hurtful and upsetting".
However, Dublin student and part-time DJ Caoimhe, 22, didn't seem to find nominations so difficult. When asked by Shabby whether her reasons had come to her easily, she replied: "Yeah, they did actually. Once it's done, it's done and that's it."
The results of who will face the public vote will be revealed to the 'Big Brother' housemates today (15.06.10).
