Victoria Beckham will play a sexy mermaid 'SpongeBob SquarePants'.
The singer-turned-fashion designer - who has sons Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, seven, and Cruz, five, with her husband David Beckham - is set to voice the role of scantily-clad sea beauty Queen Amphitrite in an upcoming episode of the underwater children's show.
She said: "I was so thrilled when I was asked to be a part of 'SpongeBob' as my children love the show. When I told the boys, they were so excited!
"I had such a great time recording the voice of Queen Amphitrite. How fun to be a queen for the day! We are all looking forward to watching it together."
Victoria was reportedly persuaded by youngest son Cruz to take part in the 30-minute 'The Clash of the Triton' special.
She will join 'Seinfeld' star John O'Hurley and Skid Row singer Sebastian Bach, who will voice the roles of her husband and rebellious son in the one-off special.
Nickelodeon president Brown Johnson said: "We're happy to have such a talented and eclectic group of celebrities lend their voices to this 'SpongeBob' special.
"Victoria, John and Sebastian truly brought Bikini Bottom's royal family to life."
The fashion designer joins the ranks of a whole host of stars - including Scarlett Johansson, Johnny Depp and David Bowie - who have all appeared in the popular cartoon.
