P Diddy has Notorious B.I.G regrets
Rapper P. Diddy regrets letting his friend Notorious B.I.G stay in Los Angeles the night he was shot dead.
P. Diddy wishes he'd done more to save Notorious B.I.G.
The rapper – whose 1997 single 'I'll Be Missing You' was written about the death of his close friend - regrets decisions he made the night the hip-hop legend was shot dead on March 7, 1997.
P. Diddy told US Rap News: "Probably the only regret that does haunt me was the night that Biggie got killed. He was supposed to go to London for a promo tour, and he had talked me into letting him stay in Los Angeles. That's, like, a regret that I have, just not forcing him to get on the plane."
Notorious B.I.G died from four gun shot wounds to the chest after being attacked in a drive-by shooting after leaving a party in the city.
P. Diddy is currently in the UK promoting his latest film, 'Get Him to the Greek' – which also stars British funnyman Russell Brand.
