Barbara Windsor's Enders exit secret
Barbara Windsor admits she has begged bosses on the BBC One soap not to tell her what happens to her alter-ego Peggy Mitchell in her final scenes
Barbara Windsor doesn't want to know how Peggy Mitchell will be written out of 'EastEnders'.
The legendary TV actress admits she has no idea what bosses on the BBC One soap have in store for her departure and has asked them to refrain from giving her clues about her final storyline.
She told HolySoap: "I don't know and I didn't want to. I said I didn't want to see them, I don't want to know - just give them to me like you always give them to me, like they're any ordinary episode."
The 72-year-old actress has portrayed the feisty landlady since 1994, but last year revealed she planned to give it up to spend more time with her younger husband Scott Mitchell.
Although she knows little about what is in store for Peggy, Barbara revealed she has "about six weeks" left in the show.
She added: "It will be so, so brilliant. I only want this show to be great. I've loved it for 16 years."
