The DJ - who came second on the show earlier this year - admits the public's perception of him was improved greatly through his time in the house.
He said: "A lot of people thought I was a d**k, and I think it showed people that I'm not! That's the most positive thing that's come out of it - people saw that I'm OK."
The 30-year-old star believes the few weeks he spent inside the famous compound were have also boosted his plans to release more music.
He added to Closer magazine: "I wasn't really planning more music, but offers were on the table after 'CBB' and the show did me the world of good."
However, the former Another Level star is enjoying chilling out at home and is keen to settle down with a new woman.
He added: "Don't get me wrong, I liked to party and I had my fun. But I'm a bit of a homeboy these days - I enjoy watching DVDs on the sofa. I don't particularly like being single so I want to meet someone."
Dane lost out to cage-fighter Alex Reid - the husband of his ex-wife Katie Price - in the reality show earlier this year.
