'Big Brother' is set to crown one housemate the Ultimate Champion after this year's series ends, when the winner of 'Big Brother' 11 joined the 12 former housemates in a two-week competition
'Big Brother' is set to crown its Ultimate Champion after the end of this year's series.
The Channel 4 show will finish this summer and once the winner of 'Big Brother' 11 has been announced, he or she will immediately be joined by 12 former housemates for an extra two-week stint in the compound.
The contestants will include some from the celebrity version of the show, with producers promising to put in some of the long-running show's most colourful characters and not just previous winners.
After 14 days, the public will vote for the all-time favourite housemate, and crown them the Ultimate Champion.
Show boss Phil Edgar-Jones told The Sun newspaper: "It's a bittersweet moment with 'Big Brother' ending, but the Ultimate Champion will ensure we end on a high. As well as finding fans' favourite housemate, it will also be a trip down memory lane as they discuss experiences in the house.
"It will be a nostalgic treat for people who love the show and remind us why it was so great."
Former contestants being lined up to take part include Nadia Almada, Brian Dowling, Nikki Grahame and Brian Belo.
