Kiefer Sutherland defined by 24

Kiefer Sutherland doesn't mind if '24' defines his career.
The actor - who is best known for his portrayal of hunky secret agent Jack Bauer in the long-running TV series - loves being involved in the drama series and doesn't care if it limits his future acting roles.
He said: He said: "If '24' is the thing that defines my career, and nobody else wants to work with me again because of it, I would have to say I would take it - without a second's hesitation."
The finale of '24' appeared on British television last night (06.06.10), as Kiefer prepares to turn follow the eight series with a two-hour-long film.
The 43-year-old star has also defended the use of torture in the show, and admits he believes it was a powerful way to make viewers realise what time pressures the agent was under.
He added to The Daily Telegraph newspaper: "It was a fantastic dramatic device for us to create a sense of not only urgency but the importance of the information that Bauer needs to acquire. Am I recommending this for people at home? No. Of course I don't support anything that happened in Guantanamo Bay, but I think we're also being very naive to pretend that torture doesn't exist out there. It's a television show - take it for what it is."
